Second Short Essay

The development of ethics from ancient and medieval to modern and post-modern times is a very interesting topic. It started with a simple inquiry about the meaning of life and how to attain happiness. Ethics had started to evolve in the Ancient Greek through the teaching of Socrates as written by his student Plato. Ethics at this time was still an unknown discipline. But the elements of ethics as we know today had already preoccupied early thinkers. Ethics came from the Greek word “ethos” which means character or personality.
