W12 Left Behind Answer (2)
America has a moral responsibility to help those who have fought with us overseas to attain US citizenship. This moral responsibility stems on the responsibilities from a special relationship. These responsibilities from a special relationship emerge from the meaning of responsibility within the essence of the term “cause”. This means that responsibility to someone is due to agent being the “cause of an outcome and therefore deserves appropriate praise or blame.” (Gibson 102).
W12 Left Behind Answer
America has a moral responsibility to give those who fought its overseas wars US citizenship because of special relationship.
According to Gibson, roles may arise from special relationship. A relationship is special when a person has been “entrusted to promote the interests of others as their own” (100). An example of special relationship is that between a principal and an agent and a partner as against his fellow partners. As fiduciary, a person or entity is expected to uphold his duty of care, which means that he should pursue whatever is in the best interest of the person or entity to which he owes a fiduciary duty.
