For the first case, I chose to keep the money because we had an agreement. Regardless of the time I allowed, the amount to be paid was laid in the agreement. I do not think that it is taking advantage of the client because no one could have predicted what happened after the amount was settled by the client. Since there is an agreement, both parties agreed to the amount. Also, there is no fixed time when it comes to such work. If the situation was reversed and I had to exert more time than what is agreed initially, I cannot charge the client extra since it was not part of the agreement.
