Discussion 5: Sustainability

In the business world, it is not uncommon for organizations to experience surges in demand at certain times of the year and lapses in other times; however, maintaining consistent workforce sustainability can be quite challenging. Work places implement different strategies to attract new customers and generate revenue, but the goal of a balanced environment takes into account all of the environmental, social and economic factors. Goals need to be accomplished but not at the expense of one of these three components. Is your company guilty of compromising its sustainability by upsetting the balance between the employees’ work and home life? Which strategies can be implemented to create a balanced and sustainable work environment?

Discussion 5 : Sustainability Answer

As far as I had experienced in the company that I am connected with, I think maintaining the work-life balance within the organization and among the employees is one of the company’s main goals and objectives. They had provided consistent programs and strategies that address these areas in the organization intending to achieve sustainability among the employees. With this regard, I can say that my company is not guilty of compromising its sustainability in this particular aspect of the organization
