Read the article How is College Different from High School? from the Writing at GCC Handbook.
Choose three differences that seem to be the most important to you, and write a five-paragraph essay that describes why those differences are interesting and important. Even if it’s been a while since you’ve been in school, the expectations will still be pertinent.
Begin your essay with an introductory paragraph that discusses the topic in a general way. The last sentence of the introductory paragraph should be the thesis sentence of the essay. A paragraph is 5-7 sentences long.
