Discussion 7: Week 4  Answer

Parents should be allowed to homeschool  their children. However, they should be guided by experts in the field. Parents are children’s first teachers. Even before a child goes to formal schooling, parents serve as their initial teachers in life. The idea of parents homeschool children is not new; however, it should be based on proven methods to make sure that children learn. Each learner is unique and some of them respond better if their parents are the ones teach them.
