Create a Venn Diagram
Compare the two readings Introduction to Mythology you have done for this module, Introduction to Mythology Reading and Myths and Storytelling by creating a Venn diagram that focuses on the function of mythology as explained by each reading.

Water Jar Boy List
Before reading “The Water Jar Boy”, you were asked to complete a personal inventory of at least ten items that addressed some basic life experiences and issues typical to adolescence. You were also asked to pay attention to how the issues that you included in your inventory are dealt with metaphorically by the events/details depicted in the myth of the Water Jar Boy, and take notes on this, in this assignment, Water Jar Boy, Brainstorm and Reading.
. Please write the following:
- A list of six of the ten life experiences/issues from your inventory.
- One paragraph of analysis about how one of these issues was dealt with in the story (be sure to make some kind of a claim and include specifics).
Posting to Discussion Board
Finally, you are ready to post to the discussion board.
- You should have a screenshot or PDF of your Venn diagram to post. You will need to attach that.
- After you attach it, please write 1-4 sentences about what your diagram means to you in terms of what you find most relevant about the two different readings’ similarities and differences in discussing the purpose and function of myths.
- The Water Jar Boy list you were asked to write in the activity above.
