Please take some time to reflect on either your relationships or the relationships of other adults you may know. Please identify five couples from your personal life that represent five different types of relationships that could exist based on Robert Sternberg’s Triangular Theory of Love as discussed in the textbook. Identify the type of relationship, provide an explanation as to why your sample is an example of that type of relationship, and explain how passion, commitment, and intimacy relate to that specific relationship category.
Finally, based on what you have learned in this course, and through other means, what advice would you offer to couples to achieve and maintain consummate love over their lifetime?
