Exam 1 Answer

Augustine argued that evil does not disprove God’s existence since good can exist without evil, but evil cannot exist without good. When God created the universe everything was good, but evil (like parasites) leaches off from good. It means God never intended for evil to exist, He only created the good, it is His creations evil as an exercise of their free will.
