Once you have read pp. 97-100 (The Rise of Macedonia, 359-323 B.C.E. in Chapter 4) in your textbook, post your reply to the following question:
“What were the accomplishments of Alexander the Great, and what were their effects both for the ancient world and for later Western civilization?”

Alexander the Great is considered as one of the greatest military leaders of all time. He was already able to conquer Persia and other countries of the near east even when
