Excerpt

Robert Gifford’s article titled The Dragons of Inaction: Psychological Barriers that Limit Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation” attempted to explore a few reasons why the global citizens and their governments failed to advance their desires to preserve Mother Nature. Gifford (2011) toiled hard enough to explain the very issue and keep resolving on repeating the issue on the table of discussions on a global scale (p. 290). Countless people, as he cited, believed in the so-called climate change and the issue surrounding sustainability. Aside from that, other people emerged and tried to exert much of their effort to promote their crusades to protect Mother Earth. No matter how hard these people attempted to claim and do, they failed to accomplish positive outcomes due to the key problems – their dragons of inaction.
