A valid data analysis plan is vital for any research. In this study, the effectiveness of infertility treatments would be evaluated. Specifically, the study aims to answer the question: in infertile couples, how does IVF, compared to Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), affect treating infertility? The different variables should be defined in order to gather necessary prior to analysis. Various statistical tests may also be used depending on the goals of the study.

Variables

For the baseline characteristics, the variables that would be collected for the study include age, socioeconomic status, educational attainment, number of pregnancies, number of abortions, number of successful deliveries (term and pre-term), diagnosis of infertility, and use or frequency of use of infertility treatments.
