In the variety of race, color, and creed, it is safe to say that there are figures who can represent the various American people we encounter. In the case of this essay, these figures are portrayed by three characters. These three characters’ representation include those people who surround us in our daily lives, those whom we say hello to, nod at the distance, smile to, or even bump into in times of race against time. Their stories led to an understanding that life is indeed precious. Time is precious and so are the people that surrounds us and that in a single nick of time, things can change easily. A single decision may lead to a disaster that can ruin one’s life, including those who surround us. Moreover, another thing that served as an eyeopener to me through these three figures are the social injustices – a long standing issue that many of our people still experiences despite time.
