Racial ideologies are the thoughts and ideas about race that often develop through historical conditioning. The events that happen between races through time in the midst of different situations that occur between nations. The resulting effect of the connection that is created by these situations between races often become the basis of the development of different ideologies. For instance, races with black skin color have been subjected to distinct courses of slavery through history. This part of history is usually carried on through time and individuals and social groups tend to follow through stereotypes that relate to slavery of the black colored individuals even though they have already been freed from this condition years ago. In a way, racial ideologies are built upon social beliefs that are often guided through historical data. The persistence of these racial ideologies often follows through the constructs of the ever changing social norms. Nonetheless, there is a strong pull of history in these situations, therefore putting positive changes at a halt or at a gradual application that is often not that easy to realize.
