It is no secret that the present workplaces are multi-generational, which means that the older and younger employees interact with each other. This reality results to challenges as each generation is unique. For instance, the older employees are already nearing their “retirement phase.” That is why their priorities are very different compared to the younger employees. According to the authors, the lack of communication and understanding between the generations contribute to existing issues in organizations. Prior to its publication, it was subjected to peer-review, which means its contents are reviewed thoroughly by subject matter experts.
