Read the following September 8, 2018 Washington Post article entitled, Veterans don’t get to decide what ‘respecting the flag’ means Our service doesn’t entitle us to get offended by Kaepernick’s choices or anybody else’s, written by Salil Puri, a staff sergeant with the Army’s Psychological Operations Regiment, served in Afghanistan.

Write an argument of at least 250 words that answers the question of whether or not you agree with the author, Salil Puri. In your argument provide at least one quote from the article and underline your thesis statement. You may want to consider whether or not Mr. Puri’s argument is convincing and fair when supporting your argument’s thesis.  Also consider which of the three ethical theories discussed this week is most supportive of your argument.
