For your assignment this week, you will fill out a worksheet to provide a report on your experience on your field trip.
1. What is the function and role of the institution/event you visited? What is its role in the community and its role in culture? Which culture(s) does it represent? What are its goals and mission?
2 What cultural interactions did you observe, and what was important about them? For example, did you observe people from different cultures interacting in real life, and/or did you see exhibitions chronicling how different cultures and groups have interacted in history? Describe 2-3 examples in detail.
3 What did you learn about the role, value, and challenges of diversity during your visit? Be specific and offer several examples.
4. Would you choose to visit this institution/event again? Why or why not?
