In this week’s readings, you also read about the theories of socialization.
- Please pick one of the theorists that you read about: Cooley, Mead, or Freud, and make a direct connection between your own socialization and your theorist’s theory of socialization.
- For example, if you can relate to Charles Horton Colley’s theory, discuss how you can connect your own socialization process to Cooley’s “looking-glass self.”
Then please respond to the posts of at least two of your classmates (please remember to read the responses to your own posts and answer any questions that your classmates may have).
