For your Week 4b. Discussion Forum please follow the instructions for posting your video.  Do not forget to write your responses in “question and answer” format.  Include the number in which you are responding to.  Use at least one scholarly peer-reviewed source AND your free “AG” textbook to validate your points.  Only use APA format for your “in-text” citations and include your Reference List entries at the end of your responses.  Remember that the video you are required to submit does not count as your outside scholarly source.  So find a separate outside scholarly source and remember that it can only be text-based.

Make sure to refer to Chapter 13 in the “AG” textbook to familiarize yourself with the following prompt:

1.)  Submit a video about a current Supreme Court justice whose constitutional approach you largely agree with.  It can be an interview or just a video about the justice. 

2.)  Summarize the video in 150 words or more.

3.)  What is it about this justice’s constitutional approach do you find appealing?  Do they tend to use a more “literal” reading of the Constitution (i.e. the “Originalist” approach) or do they apply an interpretation that is perhaps more “broad” and context driven?  Are they an advocate for judicial activism or judicial restraint?  Answer in at least 200 words.

4.)  Respond to two or more of your peers.  Each response should be at least 100 words.  

*Don’t forget that your initial response to the discussion prompt(s) is always due by Thursday evening by 11:59 p.m.and then your two peer responses are always due by Sunday evening at 11:59 p.m. (and not a second later).
