Ramses II (the Great) was the king of ancient Egypt who reigned from 1279-13 BCE.  He was the third ruler during Egypt’s 19th dynasty, and his rule was the second longest in Egyptian history (67 years).  Ramses II is known for his building program, his huge statues, and his war with the Hittites.

In this graded discussion you will review the You Tube video on Egypt’s Golden Empire (3 of 3) The Last Great Pharaoh which deals with Ramses II.
