Dear students,
Now that we have progressed to chapter three and you have some idea about the information systems we can start some discussions with the main topics of this course in mind. Let’s start with your life experiences. Describe some real-world examples of (a) one-to-one relationships, (b) one-to-many relationships, and (c) many-to-many relationships. Which do you think is most common? Which does a relational database handle most easily?
