Threaded Discussion #5: Poetry in Your Life
Topic:
Please share with the class, some lines of verse (poetry) that are especially meaningful to you. (The lines could come from a “traditional” poem or from the lines of a song–as poetry and songs share a common history.)
There could be any number of reasons–
- you heard the lines at a particular moment in your life
- the meaning of those lines seems to change
- the sound quality captures you
- perhaps the speaker’s delivery touches you
Please explain your response, which is due on Weds at 11:59 pm. Then respond to two classmates by Sunday at 11:59 pm.
