Threaded Discussion #6: Trifles on Paper vs. the Stage

Question

Similar to lyric poetry, drama has its origins in performance.  Reading a play by yourself is certainly a different experience than experiencing a performance of a live play.

After reading “Trifles,” please watch one of the 30-mins. performances that you can find here https://ecourses.tvcc.edu/courses/8064/pages/trifles-performance. (Links to an external site.)

post your reactions regarding the different experiences of reading “Trifles” vs. seeing “Trifles” performed.

Please conclude your initial posting by posing a relevant question or concern for your classmates so our discussion can evolve.

(You will need to respond to the postings of two classmates.
