 Goal and Purpose

  • To breakdown stereotypes about the intelligence of Neanderthals Prompt

Before completing your discussion post, please make sure that you have completed the following:

  1. Read Chapter in the manual
  2. Review this lecture; Neanderthal and Other Humans….Links to an external site. 
  3. Review this article; A Draft Sequence of the Neanderthal DNALinks to an external site.

Based upon the information provided in this week’s module (lecture, reading and film clips) describe at least three sources of evidence that Neanderthals are not dumb and brutish and are in fact an intelligent species capable of symbolic expression.
