California Earthquake Authority (Links to an external site.) allows you for a interactive exploration of the hazards in the entire state. Access this resource and use the map to research LA County and other areas of interest to you. 

This is a very useful document (Links to an external site.) that talks about preparedness, and how to be ready before, during and after an earthquake. 

Please write a post in which you discuss the following topics

• Your personal experience with earthquakes
• What do you think that the most significant concern regarding earthquakes is in Southern California
• What do you think your level of preparedness is at a personal level (you, your immediate family, or your household)
• What do you think the overall level of preparedness of the entire region is?
• In your opinion what is the single most important action or information people should do or know to better prepare for an earthquake?
