  • What other people were impacted by domestic violence or sexual assault , other than Leslie and Connor? How do you think they were they affected by it?
  • What did you learn about domestic violence or sexual assault from this video?
  • If they didn’t reach out to help, why didn’t they and how could they have?
  • In what ways was violence against women portrayed as socially acceptable in this video?
  • Was the problem of domestic violence or sexual assault connected to other social problems and oppressions faced by the characters (i.e.: child abuse, racism, poverty)? How so?
  • Was there victim blaming in this video?
  • How did the video make you feel?
  • Did it remind you of a situation you have experienced yourself or know of someone who has? If so, how did you help that individual or get help yourself?  Although this may be personal, you do not need to mention names or specifics, but even if you generally discuss the help, it may also help a classmate or someone they may know.  How has that experience affected you?
  • Discuss with classmates’ signs or situations that could occur in a relationship, even early on, that may send “red flags” up that this could be an unhealthy relationship?
