One material culture is anything that symbolizes religion. Be it murals, artworks, or icons, everything tangible that depicts religion is a form of material culture. It is no different from the pendants and stone beads used by indigenous people to describe their culture and community. Religious artifacts are created to provide a depiction of how religion is symbolized in the non-material society and how it can be differentiated from one another
