In the YouTube video, Dr. Gordon Patzer, who studies attractiveness, said “Controlled studies show that people go out of their way to help attractive people — of the same and opposite sex — because they want to be accepted and liked by good-looking people.”

I agree with the statement “people go out of their way to help attractive people– of the same and opposite sex–because they want to be acted and liked by good-looking people.” The Halo effect is a good rationale for this statement. Some people think that attractive people are more superior compared to average looking individuals; hence, getting their validation is important.
