Week 2 Assignment The Reluctant Receptionist (Case Study) Answer

Virginia claims that Frederick has misrepresented the job to her as she applied as an HR assistant but part of her work is to sit in as a receptionist. In the case what caused the interview to go wrong was Frederick was too busy to prepare a formal job description and this was the root of the problem. There was no proper documentation of the skills, experiences, requirements needed for the job. Prior to hiring a candidate, there should be a job description to make sure that duties and responsibilities are discussed to the candidate during the interview.
