The interesting facts of this week’s readings include the use of theory in research, causality, and the beginning orientation and opening towards the world of social research, which are important aspects not just for this course but also towards holistic scientific and empirical data gathering. Neuman (2020) opens the readings with the classification of scientific research into basic and applied; moreover, we also find the interesting natures of both longitudinal research and cross-sectional research.
