Bauchner (2017) stated that whether healthcare in the U.S. is a privilege or right has been an ongoing debate. However, as I have observed in the U.S., I believe that health care is a privilege. Though this may sound disheartening, this is the reality that must be changed. Health care should be a right for every citizen in the country regardless of their socioeconomic status.
