Wk 1 Discussion – Nurse Claims Report Answer

The most surprising fact I discovered from the Nurses Claim report is that allegations related to treatment/care are the most frequent. The allegations accounted for 56% of the closed claims in the 2020 dataset analysis. These allegations include failure to fulfill core nursing responsibilities, duties, and expectations. Personally, this is very alarming since our patients depend on the quality of service we provide.
