  The chosen healthcare law is the Medicare, which is a public and state or federal government funded insurance coverage for over 50 million American citizens; this type of healthcare ensures the capability of less fortunate and low-income citizens in receiving appropriate services and initiatives in the healthcare setting. According to Pozgar (2016), healthcare laws and policies help in maintaining health equity and accessibility and availability of required healthcare services, such as Medicare. The general framework and holistic provision of healthcare insurance coverage under the Medicare comprises of four parts, namely Part A, Part B, Part C, and Part D (Kaiser Family Foundation, 2019).
