I have learned that depression and anxiety can affect the body and is a risk for getting physically ill. It is also fairly common as about 20% of American adults suffer from it. I think learning about depression and anxiety and its psychopathology will enable us to be more learned about its biological causes and physical effects, and thus make us more aware of it – rather than shun it as a mere mood swing.
