The countries which fascinate me the most are Japan and the Philippines. Both countries have direct contrast with the United States in terms of power distance and long-term, short-term orientation. These key differences provide pertinent information about how company cultures differ in the Philippines and Japan, versus the U.S. and thus affect HR and talent management in terms of culture and values.
