According to Rowitz (2014), two of the different leadership styles are the “Theory X and Theory Y” and the “Managerial Grid”; these two leadership styles differ on their approaches, mechanisms, and suitability to organizations. McGregor classically discussed the first leadership style, “Theory X and Theory Y”, wherein Theory X and Theory Y are similar because of the existence of employee-organization and employee-work attitude relationships.
