ASSIGNMENT FOR MODULE TWO Answer

The discussions this week were around whether or not it is right for students to be required the SAT or ACT before they apply for college. Chris Asch is a history teacher and is a part of the general education board for the University of the District of Columbia, making him credible in assessing how these tests affect students. He argued that the tests themselves were solely for showmanship and do not reap benefits, especially for low-income students. At the same time, colleges do not even assess their students based on these numbers, making them irrelevant.
