In this week’s discussion, there is a question as to the effectiveness of distance education in comparison to face-to-face classes. Schroeder reiterated that distance education will help students who are already struggling with completing their degrees. More particularly, he mentioned that older students who do not have sufficient time to complete face-to-face classes will have another opportunity at completing their degree because of the flexibility of distance learning. On the other hand, authors Jaggars and Xu looked at the importance of face-to-face classes.
