The development of ethics from ancient and medieval to modern and post-modern times is a very interesting topic. It started with a simple inquiry about the meaning of life and how to attain happiness. Ethics had started to evolve in the Ancient Greek through the teaching of Socrates as written by his student Plato. Ethics at this time was still an unknown discipline.
