Threaded Discussion #2 : Applying Literary Approaches Answer

When reading a literature, it is vital for the reader to keep in mind the writer’s background, location, as well as the era when the specific literature was written. These information, in my perspective, are crucial as it enable to reader to draw insights about the text. At the same time, it allows the reader to spot similarities and differences with the writers’ background with that of the narrative. The characters and settings are also important factors to keep in mind. These elements  provide insights on the theme and message that the author is trying to communicate.
