So the process of nursing research begins with identifying a research question. Once this has been identified, the nurse researcher then performs a review of literature related to the research topic. A theoretical framework is then identified and a research design is carefully selected. This will determine who the samples and population will be as well as how they will be selected. The research design will then be implemented and variables will be measured. After which, data will be analyzed and conclusions will be drawn from the results of the data analysis.
