It is important to perform a quality literature review because it helps us understand the topic we want to know more about. By performing a literature review, we are able to determine what has already been conducted and under what conditions, what the previous results were, and how our current research could add to the existing literature. It is also necessary that the literature review we conduct is of good quality. A quality literature review’s components include credibility, fairness (without bias), and accuracy.
