Defining Cooley’s theory of The Looking Glass Self, we come across some key words: Social interaction, interaction of individuals with group and society’s judgement. So technically speaking this theory talks about how an individual’s self is perceived through what others see in them. The individual cares about how they appear in society, after their appearance how others are going to judge them and then they start to act in accordance to those perceived judgments.
