Reading- Johnson Answer

The article is an attempt to address white supremacy and white students’ intense response to the exploration and discourse of racism in class. The key to this objective is to make educators prepared and skilled to manage racism discussion in the class, particularly as to how to deal with white student resistance including acknowledgement of racism. The authors found that some teachers are afraid to initiate discourse about racism due to fear of getting into intense discussion. Some are afraid because they are unsure of what they would reply as a counter argument.
