Water Shortage

Water is a key component of life and not just for human consumption, every living organism on earth relies on water availability. So much so that every time scientist search for life outside our own planet typically the first question they try to answer, “is there water?”

Write a short paragraph discussing:

• What most surprised you about how water is utilized (2pts)
• As a society, or personally, do you feel we value water? How so or why not? (2pts)

Water Shortage Answer 

1) The one thing that surprised me was that the percentage of clean water on earth, which is 1% of the earth’s water. Why it is surprised me because I thought the clean water percentage would be higher than 1%., maybe around 5 or 10% of earth water.
