ASSIGNMENT FOR MODULE ELEVEN Answer
Norah Wei Tang, a communications student at the University of Illinois, argued that the disadvantages of social networking sites outweigh their benefits. Wei Tang emphasized how these sites have resulted in a misconstrued way of thinking for the students. Due to the instant gratification brought by these social networks, students presume that things can come easily. Patience becomes a trait that is harder to obtain. Wei Tang further said that the shallowness promoted by social media meant that people are less appreciative of real life.
