Journal 4 Answer

The work of Michihiko Hachiya “From Hiroshima Diary” and Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” are both works that challenge the mind of their readers. It might seem just an ordinary book to some but once the reader finds the symbolism and metaphors behind the words, it could open a better understanding of the literature. Both literary pieces are written in different periods. Hachiya wrote his work in 1955 whereas Shelley wrote her work in 1818.  The book of Hachiya is his recollections after the bombing in Hiroshima.
