Journal 5 Answer

The work of Edward Hoagland “On Stuttering” brings his reader back to his experiences about having stutters and how he takes on his disability to become successful. The author compares his stutter to a football game because he has tackled his problems about stuttering while growing up. Despite the negativity about stuttering, he faces his fears and grabs every opportunity he gets to be successful in his life. Hoagland is the offense in a football game and his stutter is the defense.
