Unit 6: Essay Answer 

Professor Helen Nissenbaum offered the “transparency paradox” as a major reason for the proliferation of third-party tracking in the United States. She explained further why predominant approaches persist despite limited results and the reasons for challenging them. The professor also discussed how the notice and consent method is exploited and cited corporations that gain the most from this.
