1. Jackson Katz is talking to men about the reality of violence against women. He is directing his wisdom to men to understand their role in protecting women against all kinds of violence. He emphasized that men should stand with women and not against them. I believe that he is clearly sending his message to his intended audience. The topic revolved around how women are abused, physically and emotionally, and how men are involved in it. They could either be perpetrators or choose to be protectors.
